Stock Air Filter

I've done a search and can't find the answer to a question I have. Is the stock air filter a wash, rinse, lube and use again filter? It looks like one, but I am not sure. I'd hate to throw it out if it is. I know the manual says "replace" but it sure looks like a reusable filter.

Sorry, I should have posted in the Mechanical help thread. I'm still use to the "old" forum.

you replace it. i understand it is possible to clean them but not idea and to have your machine breathing right is worth a few $'s
 
The owners manual manual [LIT-11626-20-60] states under a note:

Air filter
• This model’s air filter is equipped with a disposable oil-coated paper element, which must not be cleaned with compressed air to avoid damaging it.
• The air filter element needs to be replaced more frequently when riding in unusually wet or dusty areas.

Like the others have suggested, I would assume your owners manual states the same - replace it.
