hi,

i tried googling it and also used the search bar but no luck.

i have a 09 fz6 two bro pipe. its too loud. i know 07-09 are the same and 04-06 are the same.

will a 04-06 pipe fit my bike?

thx.

Are you asking about the mid pipe?

Ron Ayers lists the parts as different prefix numbers but they may be swappable. S-1 series pipe is $200 plus the S-2 pipe is $500 plus.

Mid pipe is NO! Its about 1.5" shorter.
FWIW: The S2 mid pipe CAT is about 3 times the volume of the S1. Pipe is also 1.5" longer or so.

No - and it won't solve your problem. It will likely make it worse as the S2 has PRE-CATs in the header. Removing the CAT's - makes the tone sharper. More of crack.

Buy some XP1 inserts for the Two Bro pipes.

Differences:
S1 (top) to S2 Header
Notice that nasty sharp angle at the O2 sensor and the S2 has Pre-CAT's just before the 90° bend.

Also notice the mounting bracket is offset between S1 vs S2. The S1 flows better and has less restriction as it offers a smoother transition into the mid-pipe. However, you may need to add an O2 bung for S2 use.

In short: the FZ6 Muffler sections interchange between all years. The Mid-pipe if swapped during muffler change need to match the header.
S1 header + Short Mid-pipe
S2 header + Longer Mid-pipe

you got any citation because of being too loud? I would rather leave it as loud as possible for your riding safety so cagers are always aware something loud coming..and they will probably slow down!

That's wat I wanted to do but due to the price...$600 ,,,too expensive for me at the moment!
