T-shirt going to print alert

I am thinking this thread is going to get really interesting really soon.:sinister:

I never said everything was original, but I spent a few hours making that graphic and someone ripped it off and reposted it unchanged. That sucks but, whatever. Buy a shirt from me or don't. I don't really care, but that sucks that someone took what I put together.

My bad I didn't think about any profit being involved I thought this was more of a cool favor to all us FZ6 Forum members, but that's how I think. Also it is all copyrighted material. I sincerely apologize for any harm done.

DEADLINE APPROACHING! I need to have all shirt orders paid by 5pm Central time August 31. If you want a shirt, let me know asap and make sure you pay by that deadline or your shirt will not be printed. We are only printing shirts that have been pre-ordered.

Here are a couple of pictures of the shirt in black with white ink.

Pricing:

White with black ink size S-XL $16
Gray with black ink size S-XL $18
Any color (seriously..... you name the color) S-XL $20

if you want a XXL add $2; XXXL $4

Pricing is before shipping but I have found that up to 3 shirts can be shipped for $6 to about anywhere in the US.

email me krid80 gmail.com if you are interested. I need a few more shirt orders by the end of this week.

Ya, it does suck when someone steals something you rightfully stole from someone else.

I doubt that customink.com would print the shirt for you in the first place as the word NASCAR is on it and the picture of course. Come on though, nobodys getting hurt here, there is no other shirt like it that I have seen so if you want one you have to get it like this or take the time to do it yourself. Well all use copyrighted material in some small degree with out even thinking about it. If you ask me its advertisement for MOTOGP, they should be happy.

JMHO ... Don't hate me. :D

:scared:

oh... by the way, that music you used in the video in your signature was stolen. Well, unless you are Kenny Loggins.

If Dorna won't make us shirts, someone has to.

Fred, thanks for the support mate....but it was in fact stolen. :) I downloaded it. I bought a copy of Top Gun on DVD though!! So, I hope im not all evil....

but krid.....the difference is that I wouldnt much care if anyone stole that video....I'm not charging money for people to watch it....

:P

oh and I agree, there is so very little official motoGP content out there. I mean there's only 178 pages on this site here:

BuyMotoGP.com - The MotoGP Megastore

how are we ever going to make do?!?!

If you are going to make t-shirts by stealing other people's property you have no legal right to complain when somebody steals your work.

So I repeat my earlier sentiment that:

Ya, it does suck when someone steals something you rightfully stole from someone else.

I photoshop stuff ALL the time. I take random images off the web and photoshop them into my own personal collaborations all the time. Sometimes people steal them as their own. I usually message these people and ask them to just give me credit for the work. They are free to use it as they want as Im not charging anyone money for em or anything. All I ask is word-of-mouth credit for the work done.

You took great offence to what happened here, and that is why I think you are experiencing some negativity.....just ask that the other guy give you credit for the work done by saying "artwork originally done by krid80". but you have no right to ask him not to sell the shirts on his own.

if I stole a bicycle and did some modding to it. Then I let you test ride it....then you rode down the block and sold it to someone. Could I take you to court and demand you pay me for the bike? No...we are both guilty of stealing. I stole it from the original owner and you stole it from me. The fact that I modded it doesnt make it my property...even if I did manually weld the mods to it.

P.S. Did you like my video though?? :D

honestly, I wasn't upset at the thought of lost sales, as I am honestly not doing this because of the money that will be made (but yes, since we both admit to thievery, money will be made). What upset me most was the lack of quality of the shirts that would be printed due to the lack of a high resolution picture used (since all I uploaded here was low res) and the fact that the price on that site for a single sided shirt was over $2 higher than I am selling the two sided shirt. It did tick me off that I didn't get credit, but honestly, the only reason I am making a few bucks on this deal is the hassle I have to go through in order to coordinate the ordering, printing and distribution of this shirt.

Hopefully you can understand the difference between your video and the work that goes along with the printing and distribution of a tangible.

Thanks for the link to motogp stuff. I hadn't seen that one before. All I had found would have to be ordered from overseas, which I don't like doing.

well you were the one who brought up the video in the first place. I dont see any connection between my video and your shirts. *scratches head*

in the interest of accuracy...all i said was:

Ya, it does suck when someone steals something you rightfully stole from someone else.

which is an entirely accurate description of what has happened.

you seemed to take offense to that and then proceeded to explain why I am equally criminally responsible for having made a video of my FZ6 uploaded on a free-to-view website....

*still scratching head*

lol.....

I never said you were "equally criminally responsible." I'm done arguing. I meant to say in the previous post that your video was pretty well put together (except for the cheesy music), but you'll likely take that as some reason to continue the argument (which seems like your only intent here anyhow). As stated before:

We make really nice shirts and if I saw someone with one of the shirts from the cafepress or customink site, it would tick me off that they; 1. got a bad deal and paid too much, and 2. have an inferior product.

I am utterly appalled and outraged by this!! How dare you!!!!!!!!

lol. There isnt really an argument here though. I just enjoy banter. :) I just posted a one-line comment to which you made a response. I responded to your response and so on and so forth...and here we are.

and thats not cheesy music in the video....that is one of the greatest action songs in the history of music!!

Not a fan of Loggins, but it was quite good in Top Gun especially since that song was modern when the movie was new.

so.... you want a shirt?

LOL

I would but im pooooooooor. :(

Classes start again in a few weeks and tuition has ripped the food out of my mouth....
