Awesome!

Always wanted a big adventure thumper but ended up getting the fizzer.

Now you'll just have to put Leo Vince's on it.

Its not a new one, its a 97 model. To build those offroad skills (re - crash the buggery out of it) before getting a new one (or an F800GS) 2011/12.

Just had the first ride of it to the shop for RWC & service. Felt strange sitting on top of it compared to the FZ where you sit in it.

But bloody hell, now have to learn another style of riding, the big single.

Now have 3 different engine configurations to put up with at the same time :spank:

Well almost $1,000 later, the Ten (who will be known as TR) will be on the road tomorrow

Oh yeah, nice of the previous owner to be riding around on it with only half an air filter :spank:

Well, the Ten is already throwing adventures my way without even seeing dirt! And its only the 2nd time ive ridden it!

Picked it up this morning, alls well. Got it registered, alls well. On my way to work, considering I was 3 hours late stopped on the way to grab a light lunch to eat at work & hook in for the rest of the day, alls not well.

Bike totally drops dead as I try to start it. Eventually get the bike back to the shop, the battery is totally ****ed!

Till tomorrow morning then & the continuing adventures of TR.......................

TR seems very very happy this afternoon. Thankfully the battery cost about half what I had budgeted :D

They are only standard & 13 years old, those 2 big lights on the front are pretty bloody bright.
