Can't find it, but they did mention where he was going during the WSS race... I'd almost bet my left nut that it was Honda..

:)

Well i just searched the net for any clues to what Mr Mccoy is doing in 09, and found nuthin! nadda! zip! I will laugh if he is on a Yamaha, or something other than a honda....as we may have to arrange a nut removal for Stumbles, if that's the case.....Lol! :Flip:;)

Bayliss Bike

it's crazy, and it sounds like it will eat your children's children's children when it's running

I remember standing at the Southern Loop at Phillip Island drinking beer watching the 250 GP in 1997. Bayliss was riding an under powered RGV250 & was getting hosed down the main straight, then carving them up in the corners.
That was the day he was "discovered" & went on to bigger & better things.

The same day that Doohan lost the front at T1 whilst leading the 500 race by as far as you could throw your hat. The silence in the crowd was deafening.
The good old days. Doohan was king & Bayliss was just arriving on the world scene.

It is the ACTUAL bike that crossed the line for the end of the 98 Biritsh Superbike Season. Confirmed by Corse Racing.

It's chilling now at Ducati NY in Soho. The team was sold 2 frames, 4 engines for the 98 season. This is frame 1 engine 4.

It's awesome to just stand near and realize how much history it has

there are pics, i was just lazy and didn't fast-link them.

i'll go back and do that though.

I wouldn't even attempt to ride it.
1) No lights
2) Too valuable

no sidestand, suspension is setup for a much lighter man than I, and it'ld be a pain to move right now!

(I get to look at it all day at work, and i got to watch it being worked on. what more do I need)

I would be locking everyone in the office, then setting off on my "fantasy ride" first chance i got....LOL!

Still in the real world, i would love to see this bike in the flesh......Bike Porn!
