What kind of frame sliders do you have/recommend?

I've been running the LSL "mushrooms" for four years. Only one zero mph drop, but they did their job.

After talking with everyone on the NH ride I decided I oughta get some frame sliders. I have been looking at Motovation but what's the deal with the mushroom looking Spiegler LSL sliders? (Spiegler LSL Frame Sliders)
Do they protect just as well or what? Also, I see you can get fork and axle sliders, anyone have them?

I've got Shoguns. Fortunately never had to test 'em, but bought them based on post (I forget where) where they performed well in a slide.

Can you use the motivation sliders to take a paddock stand? I currently have the one that goes under the swinging arm but that can be a pain to do on your own. much better if you could use the swing arm sliders to take the stand

I like the T-Rex sliders. I got mine from Ebay for about $25, but don't confuse these with the cheap Ebay sliders, they are of high quality. The T-Rex bolts are threaded a little longer than the OEM bolts, so there's little risk of stripping your engine. The bolts are also of a higher strength than the OEM's, most other sliders have weaker bolts. The T-Rex's also use metal inserts and are made of thick Delrin 1 3/4", some of the other sliders are narrower. These are angle cut at the ends and have a removable T-Rex sticker. They were packaged well with good instructions and shipping was very fast, I got mine in less than 2 days form ordering.

I think some people don't really take a good look at the T-Rex's due to their inexpensive pricing, but maybe they just like spending more.

When i put mine on i check the torque they were at and it was just under 35 pounds but i remember seeing that most people have been doing 40 pounds which when i did it seemed just right nice and snug :thumbup:
