A new addition to the family...

I bought a new (barely used) '08 250R for my wife. It has just over 3K miles on it. Came with a nice Yoshi carbon fiber slip-on exhaust, frame sliders, seat cowl, etc.

It's a hot red one. Will post pics later. My first impressions: the bike is light, fun, and slow ;-). Perfect for my wife.

Very nice! I used to ride a 07.. yes, compared to FZ6 it's slow, but still very fun.
Hope the carbs are properly set up to work with aftermarket can!

Nice find. I rode my g/f's home from the dealership, and I now what you mean when you say slow. Plus I felt like ginormous on that thing, but it's perfect for her and she loves it, I'm sure your wife will too.

I did notice the RPMs at idle 200-250 higher than reccomended on the tachometer. I'll check to see if I can adjust it myself and/or have the shop properly tune it. It rides smooth and the throttle control is not jerky in any way.
