Anyone up for a tour of Tassie!

I always wanted to get a 'W' on each butt cheek, or maybe hands with the fingers pointed out like someone was climbing out....lol:spank::spank::spank::ban::BLAA:.

There's also the old favourite of 'Aspirin' on the doodar. Never let , "Not now. I've got a headache" stop the fun:D

In all seriousness though, I don't think you've got the guts to get a Twighlight tat:sinister::popcorn::D

Rightio......it's time to get serious people!!! Accomodation is sorted...now lets work out these rides....

I posted a truckload of them, earlier in this thread....and i know Humpy is working on some sort of draft schedule...

How many Kilometres per day? what time to we wanna start and finish back at our destination each day....

Etc, etc...

I am thinking a 9am kick off on ride days....that is very civilised, and gives us ample time for Brekky, etc....

Im sitting here working on a trip fron Launceston to St Helens , Scarmander , Bicheno & back right now  Australian travel maps, street directory, driving directions & aerial photographs - Whereis.com ...... Ride days average 250 - 300 per day , hope this is enough ?? Or let me know if its too much .... Trouble is with Tassie , everywhere on the Island isnt that far :D

I'm going to leave the rides to you 3 guys. I'll ride whereever we end up.

And, as much as I like Twilight and Vale, hell would freeze over before I would them tattooed ANYWHERE on my body.

I have a tattoo of a Welsh dragon, for my heritage and I am going to get a second one soon. But NO pictures of Michael, no Rossi tattoos, No Twilight or dolphins

I am more than happy to do 300km's i a day....400 would be ok too...but then 250 is ok....considering we are on a smallish island....

Cool coz i was a bit worried about some of the days rides being to short :( But then i figured , well we are all on holidays in a foreign land ;) so there will be lots of stopping to look at this & that which will fill the days in nicely ...

Has anybody researched what language they speak over there ?? If need be i'll go & buy a pocket translator :BLAA:

We speak fluent Boganese down here! Its the same as English except at the end of every sentence you add "ya c**ts".

Apologies for the language but get used to it.

I would prefer longer rides....but i suppose we are should stop for photo's etc....

Crafty Kel AKA Mrs Humps has something planned & requires shirt sizes for Jamie/Jess , Mike/Karen & Dani... Ohh hang on thats me :D

My size is "Super Sexy"! Lol! No, i am just an XL, or 2XL if the shirts are a bit on the scabby side of generous!, Jess is a size 8....but will fit into a 6, or 10 if needed.

Well, we should fit right in then...

:D

Ok peoples , very very rough draft of maps for the trip , still working on things to do here & there  Let me know if you arent to sure about them... All rides i believe leave us ample time to stop & take in the sights/tours & visits to points of interest but the can be adjusted as i find out the opening closing/tour times of Cadbury , Boags/Cascade & Quad biking :D...

DAY 1 - Don't know that area real well.

DAY 2 - Weldborough pass is orsm, stop @ the pub in the paddock, they are friendly to bikers and watch out for moss on the road.

DAY 3 - I'd personally go from Poatina to Bothwell as to eliminate time on the Midland Highway, it is a death trap and boring.

DAY 4 - Splendid!!!! Done the East Coast part of this on the weekend up to Try-a-banana to play footy, it was icy, will be much better when you go. I'd skip Sorell on the way home though and go through fingerpost rd into Richmond so you can tackle Grass tree Hill again.

DAY 5 - Make sure you stop @ Eagle Hawk Neck and see the blowhole, Devil's Kitchen, Teselated Pavement, Tasman's Arch, Remarkable Caves and the Devil Park @Tarana just outside Port Arthur.

DAY 6 - Oh how I wish I could go with you on this one!!!

DAY 7 - Nice straight between Roseberry and Railton which I had the FZ close to top speed!
