Rightio, the weather forecast for Sunday in SA, is fine & sunny! So, without any doubt at all...i am going for a ride....down south to Second Valley, through to Victor, from Victor to Strath for a pie & a coffee, at Garage motorbikes, then home via Echunga, or something like that....bout 4 to 5 hours all up....and a good 250km's +..

Anyone up for it....going to leave at about 11am..

Bump Bump we did it again , sorry mate

Damn sorry cannot make it this Sunday, need to give ya a rain check on this time. Maybe next time ! :)

Dunno if I wanna do the nasty tire destroying road mate. That 50km stretch will account for 2 thirds of my tire life:(, and I'm about to spend $800 on my forks:cheer:. Won't be too keen to replace my tires at the same time.

While you're thinking, "Whining biatch!"...lol....just remember, I only got 2 weeks out of my last set of tires:eek:

Besides....if you aren't doing 220+ through the turns it's not a very exciting road, and I'm trying to avoid doing prolonged speeds that will have me standing in cuffs, watching my bike get crushed before they send me back to my new bestest friend and partner....Bubba:eek:.

Maybe I'll meet you at Strath, after doing Bull Creek.

Or I could turn off at Yankalilla and head to Victor that way, via Inman Valley.

Aside from that one bit, I'm more than happy to go for a ride:D

As Humpy mention in the other thread, a spin through the twisties would do my tyre a world of good, but the missus has been working heaps of overtime lately and wants to get out on Sunday. Next time hopefully.

Well kids, looks like Sunday's ride is now a no go for me, as i have my left leg in a back slab plastercast....i managed to do some pretty serious damage to my left calf muscle last night! no full diagnosis just yet, but it is looking like some very badly torn muscle's at best, ligament, or tendon damage at worst...but whatever, i am off the bikes for a little bit AGAIN!

How did i do it.....this is good!

Skipping! at 4 am in the morning, with a basket of lollies swinging from my arm!!!!

So, after last night organising my mates, Gazza, Silverback, Jason, etc to be at my house at 11am on Sunday, i now have to bail on ya's all...

About as happy as a Bear with a sore head!!!!

Everyone is still welcome to turn up to my joint on Sunday, and leave from there...i just wont be leaving with ya's!

:(

OMG! Skipping with a basket full of lollies? Did you fall while throwing them to people with your left arm? .....

Buggar, hope you heal quickly and get back on that bike.

And I was going to come for a ride this weekend with you. Oh well, now I'll straighten my hair instead ;)

Skipping hey....had no idea it was so dangerous! lol
Hope you get better soon.

OK so who still wants to go? I am thinking of perhaps ending the trip at my place and firing up the bbq for a snag and a cold beer afterward.

Starting point still wolfmans so we can have a laugh at his skipping incident before going to Victor!

It was 4am in the morning, i had a belly full of bourbon, i had just finished work, and was outside work, in the carpark, going to say Hi to a work colleagues missus, who had come to pick my buddy up from work...Was skipping cause it is fun!

Stupid thing is, i had been jumping around all bloody night on stage...as soon as i jumped for the first skip...."snap"...yes i heard it!

As for the left arm, and hair straightener comments....I am too off my face on pain killers to think of a smart comeback right now!

And just a bit scared that the Ol' DVT might rear it's ugly head again....my left calf is about 7cm bigger than my right calf right now!

:(

*Skip, skip, fling handful of lollies with left arm, sings* Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? The big bad wo.....AAAARRRRRGGHHHH! FLOCK MY LEG! :BLAA:

Sorry dude but it makes a pretty funny picture.

Could always drive up for a pie and iced coffee.:D

Oh man that sucks :( Maybe someone can attach a sidecar to there bike so you can come along :) I reckon they should all end the trip at your house for a BBQ instead ;)
