Somewhere behind that exhaust is my new bike :D

Been drooling over FZ1 for a long time and finally decided the time was right. I've been doing mostly highway riding lately and as much as I love my 6, combination of zero wind protection and colder mornings (I leave the house at 6am) is getting to me. My eyes start to tear up 3 minutes into the ride. (of course we all know this is just a good excuse :D )

Really wish I could keep the 6, but I'm not willing to give up the ability to park the cage in our 1-car garage in the winter.

So the 1 is going to have to take over all of 6's duties. Already ordered top and side racks and touring screen is on the way along with many other little *necessary* mods.

Oh and I have no plans to cut down on my browsing time when it comes to FZ6 forum... you guys are my intarwebz family!!

Excellent purchase dude! The bike looks great. From what I hear, "If you like the FZ6, you'll LOVE the FZ1!"

Excellent buy Erci!

I have a feeling that you will barely miss the 6. Glad to see that you are sticking around as well, you would be well missed.

Congrats

Beautiful!!!

Time to change your profile to FZ1 instead of FZ6!!
Glad you will be sticking around, too.

I expect a full report from you on the riding experience differences after you get used to the new girl!

Congrats!

Holy crap that was fast. You weren't kidding about buying another bike the other night!

Have fun customizing this one man. Hope you got a good deal on it!

Just so you don't COMPLETELY forget about the FZ6, can we trade forks? :spank: :spank: :spank:

Looks Good! Enjoy and tell the details about the good/bad/& Differences!

Nice you must be a smooth talker lol. Liter bikes under my insurance is ridiculous. Right now my full coverage is $40 a month.

That's still not bad bro. Under $500 a year is pretty cheap insurance.

Back to Eric: Nice purchase bro. The FZ1 is what got me interested in the FZ6 in the first place. One of the guys at my MSF course had the FZ1 and was recommending it's "little brother" as a first bike. Enjoy!

Congrats Erci! I can't see the image for whatever reason but I'm sure it's nice.

When I bought my FZ6, my insurance agent fat-fingered the data and quoted me FZ1 insurance. When I pointed out that it was a 6 and not a 1, he re-ran the quote and it was significantly different. You're getting a deal!

I'm hoping to get an FZ1 next year.

congrats eric the beast looks mint and tasty. enjoy it . that tyre looks fat from the profile the pic was taken!
