Leanometer? Say what?

That's kinda cool, actually :D
Wouldn't mind trying one.. of course it would probably just depress me!

Yes, that's what you want to be doing... starring at that thing while you are mid corner scraping your pegs.... Sounds really safe to me...

Leanometer L20 uses our unique invention called SafeDisplay. When you enter a corner, it measures and records what is happening, but does not display it. When you're out of the corner, the display shows a snapshot of maximum lean angle, braking and acceleration, and this remains on the display until the next manoeuvre

Reminds me of the Elephant on the Metzeler Sportec M5 tires... I personally find it lame.

Jim, I don't see any data about braking and acceleration as mentioned in your post (could be useful on a track). Could you clarify?

It'd be pretty sweet to find a way to co-ordinate braking and throttle telemetry with track position somehow.

Man that'd be epic. See overlays of all your laps with the lines you took and braking/throttling points/amounts.

Braking points + lines + sectioned laptimes would be sweeeeet indeed... you can probably buy a motogp bike on craigslist and do it :D

I dont know if they have improved it over the.years but there use to be a product called gtech pro wich would measure everything that yall mentioned by recording acceleration g's, brakeing g's, and side to side, im not sure about the track position though

Never used one of these. I just use the stock FZ6 ones that are attached to the end of the foot pegs

I thought you's was gonna mention the "other one" built into the FZ! Whereby you pick the bike up, find your foot peg and cycle the key hoping you can ride away!!! :BLAA:
