Just rode to NYC (Brooklyn)

Yeah I was there two weeks ago wow how do bikers ride there just gotta say hope your safe that place is no joke

Try riding in Manhattan where every cabbie wants to ride you over.
Also even worse roads than in Brooklyn too. ( though depends where that is)
Never ridden in NYC, but have driven there and no doubt it's as bad as it can get (at least in this country). Roads though.. I assure you the crap I've ridden over today could match the worst of NYC.. I thought my wife was gonna get tossed off the back
Ride back home triple-sucked!! Massive traffic in Staten Island (I won't split with my lady on the back)
If I had to do it again.. I'd still take the bike over cage

The worst part about ridding in Manhattan is the people. They are like brainless cows, just wonder everywhere. No sense of safety at all. I had a few close calls, where I would have hit a pedestrian just unexpectedly walking out from between parked cars on the curb with their smartphones and texting.
That's the most dangerous part in my opinion.
Where in Brooklyn have you been?
Eesh.. talk about adventure! I was in Bensonhurst and Sheepshead Bay. Quentin Rd.. it's like someone set off a series of mines!!

Manhattan had some of the worst roads I'd ever ridden. Never ridden through any of the other boroughs but coming off 9 into the city was downright scary.
That's what I've been saying all along too. I've spent plenty of time in the four borroughs. The New England Expressway up and down through Fairfield County Connecticut from NY is no cup of tea either. So many freaking trucks!
Manhattan....another challenging place to ride but not impossible. I lived along the west side with my family and took my mountainbike back and forth to class, used to "hitch" a ride with cabbies and trucks to go uptown, lol. I was young then and thought I was invinsible or at least didn't care much.
Every so often I get the munchies for Grey's Papaya and will head on out to
6th and 8th street.... I also take the time to visit my Alma mater.
The messengers and delivery guys are the best, gas powered board scooters and bicycles powering through traffic and sidewalks.

Dude, right now NYC is ran amok with those little electric scooter/bicycle. Those damn delivery guys don't obey any rules of the road. They are invisible at night, no headlights not even a freaking reflective bicycle type lights.
They don't ride like a bicycle nor a motorized vehicle. They simply obey no rules.
Bloomberg instead of banning large soda bottle should have ban these little frakers.

Grey's was out late night stop the first time I did NYC on the bike. Food was good but I don't really see the attraction.
You're right about those delivery guys riding crazy and senseless. No care in the world except to get their package through. I saw one dude holding his busted up board scooter in our ER one afternoon..... newbie,lol.
Chinatown and Little Italy, forget it. I wouldn't dare, those delivery trucks coming from those places are the worst.
It's been at least 2-3 months now since I last had Grey's, maybe it's time again to visit.:BLAA:
Grey's is alright, not the best but not the worst either. I just like to reminisce about my college days back in the city.... that's when I usually go for a ride to the city and have my Grey's.

I bought my Fz6 from guy in Brooklyn! I rode it to NJ. That was my first ride on FZ6 !!

Should have hit me up I live in Brooklyn now. Got the call today that my Fizzy is done at the shop in Philly. Going tomorrow to pick it up and bring it to Princeton.

This is gonna sound silly, but my dentist is in NY and I needed a check-up. I'm sure I *could* find someone good here, but this guy is the best.. oh and I also need to occasionally top off my supplies of Russian buckwheat.. hard to find it in NJ

Haha! Should have hit me up dude! Yea, it can be tough. I dont do a ton of driving in the city, but I do commute every day from Manhattan up to CT where I work and you encounter many of the same types of drivers on RT 95. I guess at this point I am just used to it.

Haha I live on Quentin and E18TH. Why do you think I always want to venture out? NYC sometimes sucks the fun out of riding...
