It's mandatory in the EU to have one light (dipped beam) come on as standard as soon as the ignition is turned on.
"Daytime Running Lights
The objective of mandatory use of daytime running lights for motorcycles is to reduce the number of crashes by making it easier to see motorcycles in...
I use a normal hose with a foam gun attachment. It's an 04 with 24k miles on the clock used in all weathers, the bearings aren't that costly so I might just replace them.
Hi guys,
I took the bike in for it's MOT and the tester spotted a load of orange residue on the front of the tank and also on the front fender. I did wash the bike before hand so It must have appeared as I rode the bike down to the dealers.
It passed the checks for bearings and the tester...
I bought a Scorpion link pipe and fittings direct from Scorpion. I took the Ducati cans apart myself before taking them to a local industrial heaters workshop to have them cut down on an industrial saw to keep them as straight as possible. Once that was done I took them to a pipe welder to have...
Life conspired to not let me get away till just after 11 this morning. Glad you enjoyed the road to Applecross even though the weather is horrendous today.
Shame it wasn't possible to meet but enjoy the rest of Scotland and keep it shiny side up.
I'm working tomorrow so no ride out for me :( 3rd day in a new job so pulling a sicky for me.
If you let me know where abouts you're staying we could arrange to at least say hello? If it's at a decent time in the morning?
Yamaha YZFR125 - 84mph. That's the max the bike will do. Had to draft an hgv to get there :D
FZ6 - 108mph. That's the most the bike will do as it's restricted to 33bhp in line with UK law.
I've been with e-bike since I got my YZFR125 in 2010. My renewal this year was £206 fully comp, no voluntary excess, 3 years no claims and 27 years old with less than a year to go on my restricted license
That's with all mods declared so screen, hugger, seat cover, change of exhaust, crash...
Fuel injected bikes are restricted with throttle stops or ECU flashes for the newer bikes. Pretty sure only carbed bikes get washers.
I've also had mine to 108mph (on the speedo at least). Not sure what fuel is like as I never lay attention to what range I get from a tank. I do a lot of town...
That video sums up perfectly why I ride. My partner can't wait to get on a bike once the kids are older. In fact I'm tempted to book her onto a CBT course as a surprise :D
Lovely bike and a nice quality video. I was really impressed with the sound quality.
Can't believe it took 2 minutes to get to the first corner :O That road was just so straight! I'd struggle not to pin the bike in every gear and go for top speed :spank:
I have a gloss black Shoei XR 1000 with dragon decals. Got a new HJC FG-15 in Carbon Fiber brand new for £140 inc postage.
Hoping to get the Shoei painted to look like Iron Man or Master Chief.
