About to pick up a downed fz6

Im going to pick up an 06 in need of some repair on saturday.

It is in need of;
a tail fairing
fuel tank
gauge
and headlight

I was going to go streetfighter with it anyway so that covers the headlight. Is there anything I should look out for with any of those repairs/replacements?

Best gauge to go for (price in mind)? OEM? Aftermarket?

Picked it up today, heres what all it needs!

Speedometer
tail fairings
fuel tank
seat
tail light
passenger grab bars
left side passenger foot peg
rear brake lever
handle bars with at least left side lights controls

Any suggestions on good cheap replacements for factory parts would be appreciated too!

Welcome aboard and I'd suggest you search the for sale section here and if that doesn't pan out look to fleebay as patience has its value - i.e. wait long enough you get the parts you need in the OEM color you want and pay below market value.

That is where I'd begin. Members here should have a tail section. Not sure about the grab bars.

I have a pair of stock bars, but no controls. Many go to the FZ1 bars which are pretty cheap and give a more aggressive riding position.
