And i will never doubt a carbon fiber frame again..I cant wrap my head around the control he has with road bars. They must be wide for road handlebars! This is incredible.

I raced CX for about 4 years, 2003 to 2006. Mainly State but some National level races. We would get air occasionally.

I was geared up for a full National level run for the 06/07 season and ended up directing trigger pullers in Iraq instead.

If I ever got my life back I'd like to race Master 50+ at the National level. Such a cool sport, like no other!

yeah those are wide square bars (American Bend)

Also the cyclocross frame and gearing should help quite a bit. Not to downplay this at all.... IT'S FRIGGIN INCREDIBLE!!!

I hear ya!! I've been at it forever and have tried to my hand at trials riding. Being able to hop on rear wheel 5-6 times is as far as I got

Wow that's something! I've loved cycling most of my life, but ironically was never in great cardio shape. My best cardio-cycling achievement was a solo century (107 miles, to be exact).. but that was in pancake-flat Florida!!

My favorite cycling discipline these days is downhilling. All of the adrenaline with barely any pedaling :rof:

I was mesmerized watching the vid and I am really glad they posted a few of the outtakes just to add a dose of reality. I wonder if any them ride a Yamaha?
