To pop it out at this point will be an hour job of taking the front light/cowling off cause of how it bolts into the old horn mount, and I'm trying to avoid it if I can....I had to unbolt the light/cowling, pull the mount out, get the horn screwed in, then dremel off the end threads on the bolt so that it wouldn't hit whatever steering piece the horn mount attaches to. I know that doesn't help you but maybe I can find some other examples online of the Bad Boy.

The pieces definitely look different between yours and mine tho.

At 3:30 in this video he gives a good profile shot so you can kinda see those parts close, I'm going to try to get a better shot as well.

Edit: actually looking at your pics, more specifically this one:

You can see the same parts, tho they look black on yours.

The below links show the demenions of mine. And yes, mine is ALL BLACK. Yours appears to be the same except you have chrome snap on covers. The parts you have the arrows pointed at DO NOT MOVE and are glued togther, they are indeed part of the horn and cannot be removed.

Yes, if you forced mine apart you would destroy it. Being yours are likely just chrome plated plastic covers (snapped over the black body) , especially if their not tight (not glued together), I'd bet you'd be fine popping them off.

I spent a bit trying to get it positioned so it wouldn't hit the fender and I managed to crack the outside case. It's not ruined but I don't think I'm gonna try to put it anywhere else. I've spent too much time on this and I don't really use the horn as it is, if I put on this airhorn I'd probably use it more to scare my friends than on the road.

Next bike I guess.

I had to make a new mount to get it up and out of the way. :( It was a little bit of work, but I'm very happy with the horn. :cheer: It gets fools out of my way.
