I agree with those saying that all the Liter supersports are closely matched. The real question is "Which is the best performance for the price?" I do not believe that the Italian or German bikes perform high enough above the Japanese bikes to warrant the extra costs.

The zx10r seems like the best bike for the price to me right now. Considering I can get about 2k off the price buying it through a Costo program.

Though, it will cost 450 to reflash to ecu to get another 16ish HP out of it. Then replace the pipe and remove the Catalytic for another 6ish HP. Apparently, the US models have built in restrictions to make EPA happy. Would be around 190 hp after those changes.

I almost certainly going to buy something before the end of next year. Want to buy before the new California motorcycle regulations come into effect.
