Took out the bike to try out the brand new PP3 tires. Cell phone pics of our 10.5 hour ride, seen about 8 cars on the road, redlined the bike many times and had a great time. Excuse the coating of bugs on the bike.

Mounted the tires using my new harbor freight tire mounter with motorcycle tire adapter. Works great!

Thanks! It is a lot of fun, we are taking it down south soon to see how the mountains are down that way. We dropped off the ER6N today to get some scheduled service done. Then once I get it back I will be mounting some 023 battleaxe tires on it for her.

We went up to the radio observatory also but we were not able to get any photos because it was closed :( (or maybe aliens were having their mother's day party there and it was invitation only)

Awesome pics and it looks like you went back in time. Thanks for sharing

i should have stopped and taken photos of the town, now that was creepy. the entire town is like an 1800's coal town. all the houses are exactly alike, all white, all have small steps going to the front door, all have a board walk going from the front door to the boardwalk that leads to the next house. had some creepy looking people sitting on the porches that looked like they were out of the 1800's too lol. I will go back and take photos of that next time. it was really cool but i was in a hurry to get to our favorite restaurant before closing time and it was 57 miles away. (we didn't make it :( )

here are some pics of the town actually and a few of the train running:

Looks great! Little OT but why is everything in the states always a Ninja? It's an Z1000SX from the Z series, like the 'Ninja 650' is an ER6. Lazy design or just Kawasaki saving cash with their posters? Ninja should jus tbe reserved for race-bred supersports in my opinion.

I have considered the z1000sx myself as an upgrade as they have some nice touring options.
