Hey Everyone!

Got the Corbin to fit, shimmed the latch, chin fairing/belly pan, took all of 15 minutes, and the Ohlins took 45 minutes.

The Corbin feels GREAT! It cups my bum very nicely! Wife loves the backrest, feel much safer with it. She also made the comment, "Damn honey, that seat transforms the bike, it looks bad!"

The belly pan is pure bike porn. I simply love the way is looks! To my eye it really cleans up the lower part of the bike and the blue makes the bike look like a larger bike. Super easy to install.

Here's FZ6inNH's instructions on the install: http://www.600riders.com/forum/fz6-mods/4667-yamaha-lower-cowl-how.html

So if the belly pan is bike porn, the Ohlins is bike sex. WOW! First it was very easy to install. Fit perfectly the first time, no fiddling at all, two bolts and a rubber strap, that was it.

The rear suspension is much more compliant. It simply conforms to the bump and wheel just travels over it with no skip, hop or jar. It is really a world of difference.

Two up the bike no longer wallows and feels much more in control.

The Ohlins photos are on the wife's camera and I need to find some jacked up Kodak USB cable to download them. I have 4 different USB cables and none fit it! I'll do a much more detailed write up once I get the photos.

You can see the yellow spring in a couple of the photos.

You've got a nice looking bike there, soldier!
A lower fairing is next on my list....I didn't really care for the look at first, but there's no doubt that it compliments the FZ6 nicely.:)

Shocking stuff, very jealous.

Does the back rest come off easily?

Has the camera got a memory card, if so can you not put that in a card reader.

Oh good point! Yes it does and my laptop can read a whole bunch of cards, thanks, I totally forgot.

The back rest is held on with one 5mm allen bolt. Simply remove the saddle from the bike and unscrew the bolt and slide the back rest out.

Very simple design.

Looking good!

Which model did you get? 3-way HRC or 2-way emulsion?

Three way, in for a penny, in for a pound...

My remote sits in the spot in the trunk where the tool kit goes. I like how yours mounts on the frame better. If you are going to drop the coin you may as well be able to show it off right?!?!?
