A local shop is running a special for front and rear mounted and balanced for 250.
They are a sport touring tire.

Anyone have experience with this tire or think this is a good deal?

Yes, I have. They grip, balance OK, but they wear out fast. Maybe last 1/2 the mileage. Sadly, you get what you pay for.

That's not what I would call a "special" IMO.

I had them for two seasons. They're ok, lasts pretty long. I got about 6000 miles, but I ride hard. Not the best grip but for street riding it shouldn't be a problem. If you ride hard you might feel it slips a bit in corners. I brought it to the track once and I can tell the rear wheel was slipping. I'm running Mechelin power 3 now and it wears faster, but I feel better in corners. I might put Continental Conti-Motion again.

If you don't do track day and don't ride aggressively if should ok.
