Custom Helmet Paint: Halo 'Pilot'

Hey guys, just wanted to share my latest work in progress- painting up a Scorpion EXO-700. This is my second helmet paint up, got a few progress shots...


i got a hold of an extra full face helmet and decided to give it some Halo Reach treatment, its the 'pilot' armor

started with a helmet like this

got a lot of work done today, added a iridescent pearl to the white and sanded it back, airbrushed the details and added some microscopic 'warning' labels and such... just have to paint the front half gloss black, do some minor scuffs n scratches and give the whole thing a clearcoat/polish, im waiting for a new tinted screen from eBay :rockon

i need to buy a buffer and get the blacks so shine more.. also take a tooth to all the wax in the crevices :banghead:

thanks guys! this is my second helmet no I haven't make any money yet but I'd love to do more for other people- I wouldn't know what to charge, maybe trade for parts. anyways I'm almost finished just waiting for the tinted windscreen, and more polish. I'll post some progress shots tomorrow. i too thought boba fett or some sort of mandalorian would be cool but I already did a star wars helmet.
