As everyone knows,West Ham won the World Cup for England back in '66 ;)

I reckon it will be pretty close,so I'm going for 2-1 England.

Ha, ha, ha..."soft goal". More like "soft goalIE"! Last time I checked, they all counted the same, so however it goes in the net is fine by me.

Looks like Kazza called it...
Regardless of the "soft goal/goalie" England, on paper, are a far superior side.

They should have scored more than 1 goal against the USA :spank:

GO AUSTRALIA :aus: :aus: :aus:

We play Germany tonight (without Mr Ballack :D)

I think, regardless whether Ballack plays or not, that Australia will have a really hard time against Germany. That is one structured team with a defence better than any other team in the world.

But the best of luck to you:thumbup:

If I may speak for around 85 percent of the USA

If I may speak for around 85 percent of the USA, I think I'd say: "WHO CARES???"

:BLAA:

Seriously, european-style football has a very poor following in the USA, especially outside of large urban cities. I personally can't stand it.

Then again, my personal quote is: "It's not a sport unless it has a motor in it...." and I rarely follow traditional USA sports, besides my Pittsburgh Steelers. :)
