Does anyone have some lightly roughed up parts that could be sanded smooth they'd be interested in selling for cheap?

Glad that you are ok.
First of all thank your stars that you made it out without anything major. It could have been a lot worse. Too bad about the bike but at least its fixable.
Check eBay or CL for parts and plastics there's a lot of gently used stuff that you can get out there and paint to a color of your choice.
And yes since no one mentioned it as YET:scared: get yourself some frame sliders!!!

Referencing pic number 7 . The Fairing sits about 1 cm from the tank and it always bothers me that if even a small impact to the front will make it dig into and scrape the tank. Is there anything that can be put in that area so if there's a small impact it dosen't ruin the tank?
