This is an inexpensive set of sliders that I bought off of ebay. They've got nice aluminum inserts and take all of 5 minutes to install.
You'll see in the pics that the left slider is a little bit deformed at the base. I'm assuming this occurred because that portion of the slider was probably a little bit too long and got compressed when I installed it. I'm fussy so I bought a new set. It doesn't effect the performance of the slider and is really only visible from the rider's perspective.
They've never been "used" -- no crashes or other trauma.
