Have been working away quietly on a "black project"....which is why i aint been about much lately....most of my time has been in the workshop fabricating madly...night and day! with a little bit of help from Mikey (Ozzieboy), from my spray painter, a local crash shop, and an exhaust specialist....project is about 50% done right now...

Till now, it has been mostly about making new brackets, modifying old ones, cutting, drilling, styling, etc....

Will get a little sexier tomorrow...85mm being cut off each of my pipes! Right now, it's a little J-Lo, tomorrow we are going for more of a Jessica Alba look! ;)

the headlights are the 1 you bought from a fellow rider here? bike looking very good! how about powder coating the fork cap as well? :)

Well, lots of stuff went to the paint shop today, including the headlight, modified sub frame, and single seat unit. Should have it all back by next Friday. Exhaust end cans also are in being shortened, re-packed, and polished...next friday! The rest of the exhaust is awaiting ceramic coating!

My time over the next week will be spent relocating things like fuse box's, wiring looms, etc, and modifying the underseat box.

What color should i get the exhaust ceramic coated in....black, or silver...the only two options, other than white, and that's just Fugly!

Remembering, the theme of the bike is black and silver (or polished, or chrome), with the dominant color on the bike being black!...

IMHO, hold off on that until the tins/plastics come back from paint and you can get it all back on the bike. Then you will know if you want to highlight the shape of the bike w/ silver or if black will work better with the lines of the frame/ tank.

My vote goes to silver pipes, to get that accented "industrial" look. The pipes are such a standout feature and should be noticed.

My 2 cents...
