FZ6R Speed/Tach Wiring

Well I purchased a bike that was involved in an accident and the stock LCD display was damaged. 2014 650 FZ6R. I went ahead and purchased a 50$ one off amazon and just got done installing it. I however had to run my own line from the speed sensor and tachometer to the new assembly. I thought that was odd because all the wires i accounted for and none of the ones or the original harness were providing the 0-5v except a yellow/Blue stripe wire. This wire on the diagram showed to be the oil level warning light. Anyone have any insight into this or why the speed and tach wire was not in the main harness?

I believe the FZ6R is a variant of the FZ6. The engine is the same displacement but differs in performance probably due to cam and other aspects related to ECU programming, Regardless.
I know that the FZ6 ECU sends it's data via a data line to the instrument cluster which is processed by a CPU in the cluster and sent to the readout. I would be assuming the FZ6R uses the same design process and I may be correct but we need a schematic for your bike to confirm
If I remember the FZ6R has an instrument cluster that looks like the FZ6 series 2 instrument cluster. Cross referencing the cluster part numbers between the FZ6 S-2 and the FZ6R may give an answer. This would likely confirm the pin outs but even if the part is a different number it still does not rule out a match.
