Headlights stopped working on my 2005 fz6, low and high beam. Both bulbs and fuse are good, no power at headlights. Anyone have any suggestions?

:welcome:to our great forum!

Your engine must be running for the headlamps to come on. Have you started your bike and checked for power at the headlamps?

There is a headlamp relay that is controlled by the ECU/ECM. Once the engine is running the ECM gives a ground path for the headlamp relay that allows power to the headlamps.

It's very common to forget that the engine needs to be running so don't feel bad if this is what's happening.

I will try that when I get off work. I just bought the bike about 3 month ago. My Suzuki headlights came on when you turned the key on.
Thanks for your response.

I think it's normal as Yamaha FZ6 (mine) headlights are ON only when started engine , then you can turn off the engine and the headlights will be still on...
Only if you're turning the engine off using the emergency kill switch. Which you shouldn't be.
