Im wanting to get a camera to put on my FZ. I also do alot of Mountain Biking, Kayaking, ect... So, I would want something waterproof.

Does anyone have any first hand recommendations for a good, and good priced, helmet cam?

The GoPro units are nice and run around $140 shipped. The drawbacks are that it doesn't have a screen to see exactly what it's aimed at or to do any playback.

I'm currently using a Go Pro hero wide. It takes fairly good vids and has a wide variety of mounting options. The Go Pro comes with a waterproof casing. One minor negative point is the buttons on the Go Pro are kind of touchy to use at first. I had trouble using the record/stop button. Once you get used to it, it's easy.
I had a ATC2K before this, but it stopped working after about a year. Don't know what happened with it.

I have the Tachyon XC, and I'm pretty happy with it

The sound is not the best  but in this pricerange, none is

A good thing with the tachyon is, that it takes 32 gb cards  And the battery consumption is poor.

heres a small clip I've made:

Maybe you'll find some usefull information her:

Go with the gopro hero wide... It's cheap, tough, waterproof and I find it easy to use.
Here are some vids I've taken with it... One of them shows just how tough it is!
Here it is, getting run over along with my head:

I would highly recommend the Tachyon XC, shock proof battery system (great for motocross) 32GB card, 100% waterproof etc.. the toughest cam out there. I used to have a Vholdr but switched when I used my buddys Tachyon. It's a really great product..
