Hey guys,

Rode my bike after having it sit around all winter (a few short rides here and there around the block) and I noticed that the blue high beam indicator light stopped working. The high beams function just fine as they did before winter, but the light doesn't come on.

I did have to jump start the bike with a car battery and I grounded the black wire to the frame, don't know if that could have something to do with it.

Is there a fuse just for the indicator light? Is there a bulb in the speedo that could have burnt out? If so is it replaceable?

Thanks for the help.

The instrument high beam indicator runs off the same fuse as the high beam so that's not the problem. Do your directional indicators show on the instrument panel? If not the ground was lost. If the indicators show trace the yellow wire for your high beam signal. Remember your engine must be running to test any signal on the headlight. :) The lamp is LED...
Edit: When I say trace I mean test for the high beam 12 vdc with a volt meter or test light..
