I just paid $1,800 for a 2006 FZ6. The seller is actually one of my bosses, which definitely helps. Its been down once, so it has some scratches on the fairing, needs a new mirror, and the worst damage- it has a very small crack in the crank case at the bottom of the stator cover that he fixed with some JB weld. Its been resting in his father in laws garage since 2009, but when we looked at it it fired up instantly. I registered and insured it yesterday, and the goal is to bring it home today. Ill post some pics when I have it back.

Here is the kicker- it only has 433 miles!

Danish tax-system... :Flip:

Paid 65.000,- Danish Crowns for a 2 year old FZ6 with 20.000 km on clock back in 2008.

That's 11.211 USD... new would have been 17.248 USD.

At that time is was a complete bargain here including the comfort seat and Kappa sidecases I still have.

I bought a 2006 FZ6-S with 5500 miles for $2300. I saw it on craigslist and drove to Omaha, NE and bought it real quick. He posted it for $3000, but I got him down to $2300. It's in great shape too!

Best part is, now I am buying the VS01 Headlight Kit from dev_usc. I am getting frame sliders and extra lighting so I can be seen by other drivers at night and this all cost less than $600! AWESOME!

Bought mine last month for $4750. It's the awesome black one :D it's a 2009. The guy had bought it new from the dealer last year. He put about 13,500 miles on it (highway miles).

I bought a black 2009 fz6 yesterday with 4600 miles for $4400. There is not a scratch on it, and it moves so Im guessing its in good shape (im new to bikes). Owner put on a bottom fairing, dual headlight mod, 12v charger, and rear LED light. I think it was a fair deal given that riding season is just starting in the midwest

I am going to pick up an 07 FZ6 tomorrow, one owner and about 7,000 miles and is coming with touring windshield, tank bag, GIVI top rack and side tank bags. All for $3,100.

Pretty good deal and I am quite excited to make the switch from a cruiser (I have a 2000 Vulcan 800 Classic)
