That collar is not sleek by any means, but to be able to ride safely without a damn helmet is cool. And $600 isn't that much, some helmets are more than that.

The article said it was for bicycles, not sure it would work for motorcycles. It's a great idea, but it sounds like they created due to a fashion concern...instead of just wearing a regular helmet.

I suppose this is better than wearing nothing at all while riding a bicycle in the city, but I'll stick to traditional helmets.. not like I can get helmet hair :rof:
