Loose kickstand?

While doing some spring cleaning (ok... Haven't really started yet but I'm getting there), I noticed the side stand is "loose".

Normal?

Anyway, at the knuckle where it pivots down, it also pivots out 3/4" when pushed, then returns under spring.

Mine does the same thing. I don't think you have anything to worry about. You can check the tightness of the bolt, however mine was so tight that I couldn't get it to budge and it still has this play. So not to worry.

I think thats normal, mine does the same thing. I noticed it a while back and checked the nut and bolt...tight.
