That's flipping sweet...

My hat is off to anyone who races these things. I know I would have to lose my wife and kid in a house fire to be driven enough to ride like that!

"House fire" not the best choice of words mate lol.
Road racers are completely bonkers, I take my hat of to them.

Damn, have those guys got balls of steel? (about 2:10 minute mark)... Flat out, 180 Mph down what could be called the "bendy Straight" and they're only inches apart... scary stuff.

Thanks for sharing. We get a few glimpses of road racing on Foxtel down here in Oz, awesome to watch, but that's all I'll be doing... Watching.

holy **** craziest thing i have ever witnessed (apart from that night I spent duct-taped to the ceiling in an insane asylum)

on some of those straights the bikes were bouncing up from irregularities in the roads, haha, inches apart 180mph, bendy and bumpy with almost no run off to either side.....holy poo

On the subject of racing... wish I had some spare cash laying about...
GYTR YAMAHA FZ6 Cup - Home

Customers wishing to compete in the FZ6 Cup can purchase a fully kitted FZ6N race bike for the heavily subsidised price of $11,999 inc GST. For this you get a 2008 model FZ6N - with all road going equipment supplied - but fitted out for the racetrack with the following items (same as 2007 race bikes unless ‘NEW’ stated):

Removal of road going equipment (supplied to customer)

* Fitment of a custom made fairing (similar to early FZ1) and custom single seat made by Racers Edge.
* GYTR alloy body race muffler and lead-in pipe.
* GYTR braided steel front brake hose set
* NEW GYTR crash knob set
* NEW Carbon Kevlar case protectors and Zap Racing chainguard
* Öhlins racing rear shock absorber with NEW ride height adjustment
* Öhlins steering damper
* Öhlins front fork springs with NEW modified internals to improve damping
* ValterMoto rear sets
* ValterMoto clip ons

That was taken from GYTR YAMAHA FZ6 Cup - About the Class

Now That would be fun.
