Fun times guys! I was feeling ill coming back from Idyllwild...not sure if it was heat or what. Still, loads of fun! :thumbup:

Yea I felt a little queasy when I got home too, I think it was lack of water and the heat.

And a big :thumbup::thumbup: to Rob who treated all of the bunch to breakfast

I was feeling it also at the end of Sage Rd. on the way home and I've had that feeling before. It was the heat, but when you're having so much fun you don't feel the heat that bad. For the most part I was feeling the heat at the lower elevations. That's why I have that hydration pack on my back. I emptied that before we had lunch.
As Bryan and I departed he looked like that painting of the Indian warrior on his steed you see with his head hung low.

Still the weather was perfect. It's why SoCal is so great to ride. The elevations, twisty roads and weather. We could see the thunderheads to the east of us but they stayed east of us. I think we were seeing 90 deg F at times but we'd climb to a little over 5000 feet and it was much cooler.

Even slabbing it home was a treat cuz we were shaded from the sun by mountains in the west, towards dusk and it was a beautiful sunset where you could see clear of the mountains.

Yesterday would have been a perfect ten if I could have shared it with my best friend and wife.

It was odd...I normally deal with heat pretty well ie. keeping hydrated. I guess I didn't have enough. When we left Idyllwild I felt drained, leg muscles crampy, so I decided not to try to keep up with you guys. Your pace was spirited! I figured it would end badly if I tried. Better safe than sorry!

So then I stayed up late to watch the race...and today I'm still burnt! Even Starbucks...errr... 4-Bucks isn't getting me going.

Thank you for the pics and videos. I was wondering what that wire was hanging off in the beginning. You remote mic! The Tiger sound great!

Here is the video leaving Idlywild and heading toward Banning. Not being the brightest bulb on the string I would have used the remote on off button and saved some battery juice for the down grade into Banning but I didn't:spank:

Right after we got stuck behind traffic in some turns we got divided and once we got passed the traffic we got to kick it up a notch. What fun we had coming down that last stretch of 243 into Banning. Bob (Ducati) was surprised at how fast you were on the Tiger! LOL! :rockon:

The down grade to Banning was the most fun, you can get a good rhythm going:thumbup:
