ottimoto rearsets adjustment

Just got a set. spent 2 hours trying 2 adjust the rods on the shifter side. im exhausted lol. any tips on how to do this? is there a system? is there a certain way to start? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Tough to explain via text. It was a PITA but I got it eventually.

use the pictures from other threads on this forum to help you.

Get it all in the right place first then go from there.

ok. i got the shifter side to go from neutral to 1st and 1st to neutral. my bike is not rideable at the moment cuz my front wheel is off. is it normal to not be able to run thru the gears while the bike is static?

Just have the engine running, and after you shift, take the pressure of the clutch slowly, and you'll be able to shift ;-)

That definately helped. i was able 2 get to third or 4th and back down. i guess i gota fiddle around 2 locate the remaining mystery gears lol

Remember you don't need to do all your adjusting through the rod. You can take off the thing it connects to on the bike and rotate that a smidgeon as well.
