Picked up a new battery

Picked up a new Interstate battery since i use them in the other cars too with no issues. I assume (right or wrong) that the battery in mine is the original so i'd rather not take chances. Once I lift up the tank, is the battery straight under or am I going to need to do some digging? Also replacing the air filter while I have it up.

You will need to remove 1 bracket/cover to remove the battery, - but it's not a big deal.
Once you get under the tank its self-explanatory.

I saw the tank removal one, that's going to be a lifesaver to not have to remove fairing to get the tank up. Already got the battery tender leads hooked up since it's going to be a little while before i can get out to work on the bike. The dealer added the acid and charged it as well, go them!
