Currency conversion, shipping from over sees, and extra hardware.

The Puig screen for the FZ-09 is only $100.

Um, no, all prices I'm talking about are local, no shipping from overseas involved
or other expenses.

Again, 3x the size Ninja 650 screen is half the price of a tiny, pocketable FZ6n
screen, REGARDLESS OF BRAND, you name it, MRA, Puig, whatever.

I had a screen that went over the top of my head on my Kymco scooter for
$200, I can't justify a 5-7" flyscreen for the same cash, it doesn't compute.

Maybe your being gouged IDK, but the FZ6 is $110 for the 04-07 and $160 for the newer models without shipping. That's pretty much right in line.

Additionally, the screen is hardly pocketable, it's the same size as a sport bike screen and includes additional hardware that the sportbike does not need.

I'm sure if I could source a screen from the USA I could get it under $100, but that's not the case. The only place selling the FZ6 screen is in Italy and if you check prices on ebay italy most of the sportbike screens about similarly priced.

If you check the price of the FZ6 screen from a US vendor it's only about $85, but they don't offer anything for the FZ6N. I'm confident it would be about the same price if it was offered.

Good point on the mounting hardware, I forgot about that.

And I've noticed the difference between the 1st adn 2nd gen FZ6 prices too,
that's freaking 50% more. Again - WHY?!

I'd pay $100.
I will NOT give $200.

Nevermind, just had to vent.

Finally finished a VS02 kit with Bi-Xenon HID upgrade. Have some tweaking to do and a sticky throttle to deal with but overall I'm really pleased

Do not put your cables in the metal bracket of the headlight stay that is what makes them stick at full steering lock. Try to let them be very gradual curves. Took me about an hour to get it perfect. Looks awesome!

Finally got my conversion buttoned up as long as the color change. I want opinions on painting the back of the speedo cover white. Yah or nay.

I'm not sharp with photoshop, but tried to colour it for you

I think it would add some character to your bike, and make it stand more apart from the other FZ's.

yes the are cheap ones from ebay. I like them they work. it took a little bit of tweaking to get them adjusted just right but i have them set nice and right. I've also got use to them,so its just the norm now.
