Rad Guard

I stumbled onto this place Downunder via our sister FZ1 site. Has anyone tried one? They look well made, more effective and better looking than the cheap, plastic stock cover.

I don't care for the look of the stock rad cover and side guards, even painted black, so I simply removed all three. For the past six months I've been thinking of how I could make a simple guard using construction mesh and a frame. Well hell, here it is.

For the price I'd rather get the fancy Rizoma rad guard.

I have looked at that site many times and thought I would like to get one too Pete.There are some good looking ones on Ebay aswell with the FZ6 logo on them,wonder what the air flow would be like ?

I ordered one for a 2008 and it did not fit. PJ could never get it sorted out with Rizoma.

Thanks for reminding me about this place :thumbup: , i have stopped into their shop several times while i was driving interstate and found the product to 1st class quality and reasonably priced too .....I didnt have the $$$ at the time to purchase one and had forgotten about them , now im going to get one while im down there at Easter :thumbup:

It does look to be a very nice product, but at $133.95 USD! Ouch! Rizoma is $119, not much better. I think I can make something.
