Thanks for confirming what i already thought after your ridiculous, insulting post to all Aussies yesterday!
Not once have us Aussies meant anything nasty by our rants about Rossi, he is a great target to "pay out" on, and everyone knows we are just messing with the obviously oh so sensitive Rossi fans....Not once have any of us had the stupidity to single out a nation of people as infantile....
Only reason you didnt get called on that one was because we have a thicker skin than that....

How old are you, 10? Your vitriole about "Wossi" isn't funny, it isn't based on any fact or semblence of logic, just slanted to try and piss people off. If that is what you regard as requiring a sense of humour then I guess I don't have one.
It is actually based on quite a bit of fact, logic, and yes it is slanted to provoke a response..look how much interest there is in the Racing forum now...it was dead as a do-do 2 years ago when Dennis asked me to get it up and running...sometimes being a bit controversial is actually he only way you get peole to bite...
Tis a pity you cant see it for what it is....In Australia, if we ge give someone a "hard time", it generally means that deep down, we have respect for you, even if we don like you....never once have i said that Rossi cant ride, or is not a champion...i think he is a tool....but so what! that's just my opinion...and i like to voice it...you dont have to listen, or read, if you dont want, no-one is making you....
For as long as i can remember, you have been sour....calling out people for posting informative links, without comment as "useless"....just one example....
By the way, i am 42, have 2 University degree's, and am a great dad to 2 beautiful kids!
Post what you like from here, but i have stood up for us Aussies, i am going to leave you be...cause, like i said above...we Aussies only give a hard time to those we .........

JEREZ (Spain), 3 April 2011 - Casey Stoner on the offensive. Valentino Rossi responds. The accident in the Spanish GP has given rise to a new feud in world motorbike racing between the Australian and the Doctor.
Casey attacks — "Valentino is more ambitious than talented", the Australian hits hard. "Ok he did apologize and that's positive but things didn't go well for me. He's not happy with the performance of the bike and he can't start from the front. We left him an excellent bike (Stoner rode for Ducati until last year), but at this stage we'll have to wait until his shoulder heals before we see him overtaking properly."
Valentino replies — "Maybe he doesn't know exactly who I am, but it's no problem. He's angry," replies an irritated Rossi. "What's important is that I apologized to him; I don't really care what he says. I was approaching fast and made a mistake. I didn't want to overtake Stoner, I arrived a little too close and knocked him off as well. The Ducati? The bike needs a little fine-tuning which wasn't done much in the past...Providence gave us a chance to make the podium or maybe even to win, but I messed that up. I though I could win, I knew I was going fast and I was beginning to get a taste of victory, we were very close to each other. It's easier to ride the Ducati in wet conditions and I was able to brake where and when I wanted in spite of my shoulder. We are competitive in the wet, whereas under dry conditions we can't manage to keep up with the first three, especially because my shoulder isn't 100% yet."

By the way I deleted that this morning, I was a little drunk when I posted and should have left the opinion in my head. Right now I am stone cold sober though, so today's opinions stand.

Everybody, get a grip. Poor choice by Rossi in retrospect but is there any goober on this board who has 1/10,000 of the ontrack experience that Rossi has over the years? It is easy to sit in your easy chair on Sunday and criticize what happened but only Rossi was in Rossi's leathers at that moment on the track. Obviously he thought he could make it stick and it didn't work, if he had made it work we would be calling it a brilliant pass. So the worlds best rider, ever, made a racing mistake, let's not go nuts over it.

But I did see footage of about 8 guys trying to help him. Maybe he just couldn't get it started after that. I don't know though. I wasn't there
I was sad when Marco went down. I'm rooting for him to kick some ass.

Both of my MCN fantasy leaguers went down. And I came in somewhere around 5000th in the MotoGP.com league. Pffft.

Yep, Rossi did come from along way back & probably not the move you should do on a wet/slippery track.
Rossi got in there, he didn't try to run Casey wide & Casey didn't try to crowd him down into the corner but hold his line along side him. Rossi lost the front as it was slippery.
Here is the thing, if this same event occurred in the dry, highly likely they would have gone side by side for the next couple of corners & we would be talking about awesome bar to bar racing.

I watched 3 races at that track yesterday, and in not one other case, did anyone try a move as ridiculous as that! He would of fallen off in the dry I reckon....too far in, jeepers, that is an understatement...Rossi was trying to use Stoner as a braking marker.
Rossi does not normally apologize, he normally uses incidents like this to "dismantle" his rivals!
Rossi knows it was one of his worst moments in racing for a very long time, that's why he bothered with the PR exercise after the race!
Oh well, I think Rossi knows that he has just motivated Stoner to go just that little bit harder now... And on a bike that handles, I think Stoner is going to be even harder to beat now.
Lorenzo was a lesson in control yesterday! His legend is growing race by race. Pedrosa didn't do his reputation any harm yesterday either, with a gutsy ride to second.
Pity about Spies, and Simoncelli, both had a great chance to cover themselves in glory.

Cluzel the mad Frenchman (who I like) in Moto2 wandered down to young Marquez's (who I also like) pit to say sorry. Rossi can't have the Moto2 boys stealing any of his thunder now.
Other matters of the race, bloody Spies what were you thinking :spank: Felt really bad for Marco, once Casey was out & Ben doing his all to frequent 'let's drop 6-7 sec back' then decide to race, was willing Marco to get the win.

Perhaps it's the "Curse of the Ducati" that's still after Stoner. They (Ducati's) keep taking him out even when he isn't riding one.
Looked a lot like Pedrosa taking out Hayden when they were team mates sme years back. This is racing, good and bad things happen. It was a most entertaining Moto Gp race for sure!

Cluzel's accident was nasty...reminded me' of a road accident. It was like be was looking down at his mobile phone, only to look up and see another vehicle stopped in front of him... Then bang, straight up the rear end of the bike in front.... Total epic fail!
Gotta say the 125 race was pretty bloody good too.
