to my Gran-daughter

arrived safe and sound yesterday afternoon at 4:30 and I found out while on air last night, so it was just as well I had the track "Tears of Joy" ready to play.

Clarissa is my very first grandchild and the first girl in our family lineage since my sister about 48 years ago

Cal ( my son) and Kris are both well and over the moon as is my dad, he has to get used to the Great Grandpa moniker now.


So the vital stats
51cm long and 3.2 kg so just a shade over 7lb for those who like the old measurements.

My boss just came in and said what are you doing, I said just telling some friends. She said "I'll over look it just this time" with a big grin on her face

Congrats! Being a grandpa is the best, as grandchilds are like rent-a-kids. You can "borrow" them, spoil them rotten, pump them full of sugar and then send them back home. I remember our daughter asking us one time after having our two over for the weekend: "What did you do to them?" My wife told her "They were that way when we got them!" Blah
