Summer bike ride (IA-MI), interested?

Hey everybody, I will be planning a bike trip from Cedar Rapids, IA around Lake Michigan for the month of June. I will probably be taking a Thursday and Friday off of work and will return on Sunday. If anybody has any interest in the trip or part of the trip, just let me know.

Okay, the dates of the trip will be 6-11-09 to 6-14-09. Each day will consist of a 6-7 hour ride. If anybody is interested in the trip or just a specific day, just let me know and we can meet up.

SW Michigan is where I'm at. I'm either in Kalamazoo or St. Joe, or somewhere within 50 miles of those 2 places. St. Joe is a great place to stop maybe for some food or something, there's 2 great beaches right next to each other and a bluff to cruise down. Which is really nice if the weather is nice. I'd say worth at least getting off the highway and coming through. I'm sure you can find pics online of it, IDK where, but the city's website is City of St Joseph | Home Page. I didn't look around on it but thought I'd mention it.

Depending on when you're coming through there I could meet up and ride for a little bit.

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely have to check out some beaches. Throughout the trip, I'm expecting a lot of stops to take a quick swim. I'll keep you in the loop to meet up for a portion of the ride.

What day will you be passing through Petoskey, Mi? I live about 3 miles from US-131, so I could easily join up with you in Boyne Falls or Petoskey and continue into the Upper Peninsula.

Yeah, I will be going clockwise. I will be spending a night in Petoskey (parents live there). So, if you want to meet up for some night riding or join up for some of the trip, just let me know.
