If the road is closed for wheeled vehicles then what's the point of having a road instead of a path?

Today is the first, after 5 days of rain (local floods etc), when I can finally take the bike out. I'll try to do some challenges as well Just need to eat the lunch, give back my friend her bike after post-crash repairs and off I go

Took these pics yesterday evening whilst trying to get a reasonable BOTM pic

Even tried to get a bit arty but it just didn't work the way I thought it would with the sunset.

Finally I've managed to fill some blanks in the list, so here we go :

1. Challenge #37 - 37. Your bike with a speed limit sign behind it showing no less than 105kph or 66mph! FAIL!!!

The most crazy one - stopping on an emergency lane but who cares And I know it says BEHIND it - sorry

After the sign went to McDonalds to find some free WiFi and figure out the next goal. By the way -

Challenge 58. Your bike at a drive-through fast-food joint. Fail!!!

Next was the 5road crossing - unfortunately couldn't find a good spot for a photo. I need to go there when the traffic is much less intense - Sunday maybe?

Next one :

159. Your bike with any military machine (car, tank, plane.. it's all good) in the background. FAIL!!

Sorry I haven't been back on since I the last post I made in this thread. A few hours after this challenge I met the pavement at about 40 MPH. Bike had a small hole in the frame which made her a total loss. I have been dealing with the insurance ever since, and just got the new bike last Saturday.

Bike in the pic is a 2007 Red FZ6 with 2,500 miles on it.
New bike is a 2009 Black FZ6 with 1,400 miles on it.

They are food! First fresh greens we'd get in the spring as kids!
The leaves harvested before the flowers bloom(the leaves get bitter after the flower blooms).
Creamed with hard-boiled eggs on toast! Ummm!
I sure miss my Mom,and her cookin':thumbup:!!

Purple and yellow wildflowers taken across from my campsite from this weekend. I could have gotten a better shot, but the swarm of bugs I stirred up in that tall grass made me not care about a better shot haha

I really like your picture!
I love Wild-Flowers!Wanted my whole yard in them!
Took several years of collecting seeds.Another year of hard work.
Got it to where it was looking good,
And here comes da gov'ment!
The County Health Department said my yard was rank vegetation,,and made me mow it down!
I don't live in a subdivision.Nearest neighbor over half a mile away.
People were stopping and saying how pretty it was,,,
and here comes da gov'ment.
Enough rant,feel better!
