I'm glad to report that I just made a big move down. I committed that by my birthday (April 12th) I wouldn't weigh over 200 lbs. I haven't been below 200 in 15 years with a high of 257. I started my journey on 12/8/07, and as of this morning weigh 198 lbs. It feels good, and I had to buy a bunch of new clothes because everything was just too big. My eventual goal is 185 lbs which is what I weighted when I was like 30. I'll be 52 this Saturday.

That is great! Nothing feels better than losing weight. Congratulations and happy birthday!

I went on a diet too, I eat only taco bell, promotes a stereotype I know, but hey gotta have those cheesy gorditas.... Im also 6' with a medium build so I top out around 226 -230lbs.

well, that may actually work, i refer to taco bell as rental food.. only stays in for a little while.

6'0 230....compete at 215 though...but im so frigging fed up with the gas prices that i think that i will suck down to 200 during the riding season to get better gas mileage......lol

Down from 233 where I felt like uber-crap to 223 without gear! w00t! 24 more to drop! I am feeling a lot better already and still have a ways to go. Maybe no more meds per the Doc if I make it to 199 and stay below 200. A lot of work ahead...

On December 5th I was 286 lbs (I'm 6'1") As of this morning I am 208lbs. Ridiculous difference in power on the bike! Best way to shave weight is to remove it from myself! A lot cheaper than mods too :)
