My wife and I did a short trip from CT to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. One of our favorite campgrounds, Crawford Notch Campground, was hit hard by Tropical Storm Irene, and they have been working very hard to recover. Some of the best camp sites are simply gone.
I am on an '06 FZ6 and my wife rides an '09 GS500. The riding was great, and the weather was chilly - quite a difference from my 2700 mile trip to Chicago and Nashville in 100+ degree heat.
