Honda CBR600RR

the buffeting that is the topic, is the buffeting that causes your head to move involuntarily, not the noise level of the helmet.;)

If you are gonna ride with your wife/gf on it very often i strongly recomend to test the fz6 with her on at speeds like 80~90mph and ask her if she can stand the buffs. its about 3 times stronger for the passenger. in my situation there where sometimes that her head buffed so hard that she moved around the bike (and spent all the weekend with neck aches)

Hmm, webBikeWorld seems to differ.

AGV Stealth - webBikeWorld
Score: The AGV Stealth gets a "Poor" rating for noise control.

I'll be the first to admit it isnt a quiet helmet , i dont rate it as savage as they do but it is noisey... I say thats the price you pay for what is IMO the best ventilation on the market ...

The noise levels still have no bearing over the buffeting of the helmet , obviously because there is none

The turbulent air, buffeting, is what causes your head to bounce around. I sort of doubt the helmet you pick is going to affect that much. The height and shape of the windscreen causes most of the messy air. I find the turbulence is the cause of most of the noise I hear. A quiet helmet, and earplugs, makes that more tolerable.

Helmets make a MASSIVE difference to head buffeting..... Ive ridden with a screen & without with 9 or 10 differents types of helmet & could rank then best to worst for you......

I can get on my bike now with my old Nitro 1000V helmet & my head will wobble like you wouldnt believe.... Then put my AGV Stealth on & not have my head move at all , not even when a truck comes hurdling past at 100k's... It is just the perfect streamlined shape , simple as that

Well I look at it this way...you have three solutions; get a new bike, take a car, or get a new girl friend. The girl friend is the least expensive of the three.
