Thanks Guys, I'm really pleased with it and surprised how easily she handles, I thought it was going to be tough going back to big bikes again but the low suspension model inspires confidence when needing to put a foot down at a halt or paddling it into a parking space while still astride it.

I road tested the Super Tenere last week, it was a really nice ride, in the end the dealer couldn't match the deal I was being offered on a 1200gs so I went for that. Nice bike though, give it a go!
Parted company with the Fazer yesterday for a 2010 BMW R1200GS low suspension model that had only done 2644 miles and was in as new condition and fitted with BMW vary panniers.
Rode home about 50 miles in the sunshine and was pleasantly surprised how nimble it is. I have always wanted a GS but...

If all goes to plan I am selling the Fazer the day before :(:(:( and replacing it with a BMW R1200gs low suspension model:D so a few of us are out for a ride.

Hi, I had the same choice when I was buying and rode them back to back. The er 6 pulled really well, was light to handle and stopped ok, The first thing that hit me was the vibration from the engine which gets through to you. This is a well known issue and the model was modified at some point...
Whoops, didn't really want to get into the whole iphone vs the rest thingy, I was just trying to get over how useful these little pads were for anyone considering this sort of setup.
The aircraft mode is a good idea but I leave my phone on and it can be answered and rejected by voice from my...
After using my Zumo 550 GPS for about 18 months I found that more and more I was interacting with it by touching the screen rather than concentrating on the road.:spank: This, along with not being able to update its firmware to include lane assist made me decide to sell it and use my iphone with...
