Hello,
First Mod, therefore first question to the group...Purchased competition werks pegs this weekend, no problem with the installation but now I would like to adjust the brake lever down a bit and can not seem to get the lever off the geared post. I loosened the retaining screw at the back and tried to open it up as much as possible but it seems to hang up when sliding off. Does this require a puller tool of some sort?? Is there a trick to pulling the lever off? Great advice here so far, thought I would start with ya'll first.

You need to totally remove the bolt, as it crosses a groove in the post.

This is a safety feature so that a slightly loose bolt won't allow the pedal to fall off the bike.

It'll make more sense when you look at it yourself. Pull the bolt out and the pedal should then slide off.
