First thing to know about Vegas is that the strip is not the only thing there. Make sure to go down town and some of the smaller casinos off the strip are great. Ohh, and make sure to see the Blue Man Group, it was very entertaining. Also, if you like the arcade, last time i was there, you could go to GameWorks. It is a giant arcade (i think it was about 10,000 sq ft) and even has a 8 person indy-racing game that you sit in a moving full sized indy car. I enjoyed it for it was 35 bucks for all day gaming :D.

Tourist stuff is good, there is a reason why people go to see it

If you like National Parks, Death Valley (yea I know, sounds horrible - it isn't ) is only a couple of hours away. A very interesting place - beautiful scenery, a nice resort where you can have lunch and a great deal of American history - many people died here during the push West in the 19th century.

we were there 2 years ago, the last week has been constant memories, when we meet people and things we had done. In 2 days time we were getting married. We both miss not being there and every plan to get back. Once we get all of debs medical problems behind us we will definately start looking at returning.

The 2 years will pass quickly. I was just thinking yesterday that I hadn't heard from you and Deb in a while and was going to email you!

We'll take you to the places the tourists never get to go! There's one thing I'm not humble about. I love to cook! You'll get some real eats here!

Lots of love to you both!

Miami is a wild place! South Beach is a winner for tourist. A little over price but nice clubs and restaurant. And they do have awesome beach... Bikini top optional! :)

I prefer downtown ("Fremont Street Experience" and it's where Las Vegas first developed) over the strip. It's a gigantic indoor venue with electronic show overhead (also a zipline overhead). It extends for several blocks with casinos on both sides. There are 2 or 3 stages and during nights, there can be several half-decent bands. Thousands of people congregate in the area and it's quite a spectacle. Some of the hotel rates are extremely inexpensive, some with very quaint accomodations . You might even consider splitting accomodations between downtown and the strip. Las Vegas has excellent public transportation: $7.00 for a 24 all access pass that many tourists/locals use to ride the mulititude of options running between the strip and downtown. An interesting side trip is to Boulder Dam. There are several one-day tour operators.

We loved vegas we got marriewd there, on our wedding night cliff, lisa, kenny, michael and us went down to downtown and watched the show, it was awsome. We drove out to hoover dam and kenny organised a heli ride to grand canyon.
The other option is to do the route 66 drive, i know Deb wants to do that.
Ive been to orlando a couple of times, but the last time was the mid 90's, and didnt see orlando itself, spent the whole time down in disney area's, and cape c. Neither of us has been to miami, and again its a long time since of done san fran(missed all the good stuff here too)
Yeah sorry cliff, lifes been a bitch lately debs been in hospital 3 times in the last 2 months, and 2 lots of surgery( i know no exuse not to keep in touch)

Okay, then you already have "done that, been there." Yeah, Miami is happening, and if you haven't done it, consider a trip all the way down to Key West. But, hey, you can only fit in so much, huh? I almost went to Australia but, at the last minute, booked a trip to Buenos Aires instead. Still am going to do Australia! Only problem, I probably won't have but a week to do it, which is near ridiculous.

Too big a place for a week, i would really like to see things i havent seen, but also i have to keep in mind that this last visit was deb's first and alot of what ive done she hasnt. Miami is a definate, whats at key west, have heard of it but havent started my research yet. The one thing im bummed at is that the party strip in orlando is gone (where it is new years eve every night) that place was a blast.

The NE (Northeast) or the entire eastern corridor. New York City, but it's expensive. New England (Boston), a different culture on it's own with very old history. Washington D.C , our Nation's capital and Virginia. You can travel and visit to all these cities by rail and work your way down to Miami.

Jules, if you haven't heard, I just got back from Hawaii, visited Maui. Truly amazing. Hawaii is paradise, but not Honolulu.

Say hello to Deb for me, and hope she gets better.
