Only somewhat related...
On an afternoon ride earlier this year (along a notorious pirate navigation route) I had stopped at a gas station to fill up and take a break for some hydration. While I'm sitting there, an older guy on an HD pulls up to the pumps for a refuel. When he's finished, I notice he goes over and grabs the the windshield squeegee from the bucket and starts using it on the front of his bike... tank, windshield, wherever.
Now these things are meant for scraping bugs off of glass. I can't imagine what they're capable of doing to a painted or plastic surface.
Gotta "keep it clean" by any means necessary I guess. :disapprove:
