Spools work best for stands but they're not necessary.

Go to Motoskopio. He's got fair prices on stands for bikes with spools or without. Go with your bike and ask for help. A couple of brands they carry are Oxford and Bike Lift. Got a Bike lift and I'm happy.

P.S. Don't you have a centre stand?

My brother has a Yamaha R6 and has spools on it , so we are looking to by a stand to fits both bikes

I will visit Motoskopio and also the shop at Kalipoleos near Cafe City ( Jackies)

The naked FZ6 don't have a center stand :)

Thx GConn, we should arrange a ride one day

Hah! I told you, you should get mine when I was selling the FZ :BLAA:

BTW, I think that these stands will fit both bikes, you'll just need to change the ends holding the bike each time you use it.

I tried to get these for my 09 . When I tried to make the order, They told Me they wouldn't fit. ( let me know if they were full of it)Instead I ended up getting the slider set that runs a bar through the axle tube. Super functional as sliders, but not as spools. Now have evotech sliders front to rear. Hope I never use them! Ron
